We’re excited to release our latest addition to our tuned percussion range. The aluphone is a three octave chromatic array of aluminium bells typically hit with a mallet. The instrument sounds bell-like at the lower end and celeste-like at the higher end. If you need a new instrument for your melody making that isn’t instantly recognisable then the aluphone is for you!

Jurassic Glockenspiel

The Jurassic Glockenspiel is inspired by two John William’s compositions. The first is the tranquil and nostalgic Tree For My Bed from the iconic soundtrack Jurassic Park. The second is the warm and mesmerising The Fountain Scene from another John Williams / Steven Spielberg collaboration called The Terminal. The aim of this Kontakt instrument was to capture and recreate that classic John William’s glockenspiel sound.

Low Winds

We present here a bass clarinet featuring both legato and polyphonic articulations. We then used the original raw material to create a range of sound design pad textures from the bass clarinet samples. The end result are breathy, bassy, atmospheric and deeply moving. This would be perfect for movie and TV composers working on the intimate sections of epic, cinematic soundtracks.
