You’re about to experience a swarm of steel pans warming up your airwaves like a Caribbean breeze.

We recorded four pans: a cello pan, a double alto pan and two soprano pans – all playing octave tremolos.

This is when you play the same note, an octave apart, in quick succession. When you spread this across a keyboard, add some reverb and start playing chords, you get a monsoon of lush textures and a tropical rainstorm of nanoscopic details that beautifully weave in and out.
