It’s hard to explain just how beautiful the sound of a Marimba and a Vibraphone is being bowed. They are percussion instruments, so they are supposed to be hit. But applying a cello bow unleashes a sound like no other.

The sound of bowing instantly makes it appear orchestral at first, but then you soon hear a slowly evolving glassy tone appear from underneath. Playing chords and adding reverb makes the sound almost like a chamber choir.

Finally, it’s worth noting that this sounds amazing on its own, but also sounds amazing when layered with your favourite orchestral or choir library.
